My Mum Mrs Cummins was Cook for
Eddie @Ann MacManus. My Sister Esther was Barmaid and was married from
their.She met her late Husband George Brophy who was a regular.I also
met my late Husband Pat McConnon who was a live in barman. .We went on
to be Publicans for 34years.Both my brothers also worked as part time
barmen, I also worked as a morning Barmaid where I trained before I
entered the trade myself.. |

I used to down a few pints of Fullers ESB in
this pub prior to seeing bands at the Odeon. I remember seeing Pete
Townshend drinking in here before Eric Clapton's 1974 gig at the Odeon.
It was a very decent boozer. |
