The Britannia was situated at 27 Fulham Palace Road. This pub closed c1988 and was demolished the same year.

My Sister Esther was Barmaid and was married from their.She met her late Husband George Brophy who was a regular.I also met my late Husband Pat McConnon who was a live in barman. .We went on to be Publicans for 34years.Both my brothers also worked as part time barmen, I also worked as a morning Barmaid where I trained before I entered the trade myself..
Steve Merry 1970s I used to down a few pints of Fullers ESB in this pub prior to seeing bands at the Odeon. I remember seeing Pete Townshend drinking in here before Eric Clapton's 1974 gig at the Odeon. It was a very decent boozer.
