The Peacock was situated at 113-115 Freemasons Road. This was a Charrington's pub which closed in the early 1990's and was demolished in 2006 (see site in photo below). There was a boxing gym based at the pub which moved to nearby Caxton Street E16 when the pub closed. The management of the gym then took over the Essex Arms in Victoria Dock Road E16 and renamed it the Peacock but that pub has since been demolished too.
