The Bushel & Strike was situated at 30 Hall Street. This grade-II listed pub closed in 2003 and is now in residential use.
Listed building details:
House, early C18, now public house. Narrow, yellow brick with red brick details to pilasters, band and door and window surrounds. Steeply pitched plain tile roof with end parapets and end stacks, also with red brick details to quoins. Two storeys framed by pilaster strips and with band between storeys. In three bays including narrower, central entry bay which is also flanked by pilaster strips. Segmental arches to three flush frame hung sashes of twelve panes each. Three windows at ground floor and two doorways, one in site of original.
