The Six Bells was situated on Westgate. Known as the Rat and Carrot from 1993, then the Six Bells again from 2000 until closure in 2002.

This pub was demolished in 2011/2012 to make way for the multi million pound re-development of North Westgate. Renowned as a biker's pub with live rock music nearly every Saturday night. Had many a good night in there along with many other people who were sad to see it shut. Shame they shut it as they could have continued with an excellent venue with another 9 - 10 years with it until it was eventually demolished.
