Date of photo: 2014

The Carpenters Arms was situated on South Street at the junction with Coneygree Road. The pub has two rooms being a large bar and large / comfortable lounge. The pub was rebuilt in 1933 after the original thatched Carpenters Arms pub was destroyed by fire in 1930. The pub has seen many changes of owners / managers over the years. Having been closed in the past, the pub re-opened on Saturday 16th November 2013. In 2019 the pub was run by Wayne and Annie Baxter. As at September 2020 it is empty.
