Lynn Duke 1949-1952 My parents were the publicans here, both deceased, I was a small child. I started school nearby. My father was Roy Duke the speedway racer. My mother did bed and breakfast here and Brian Rix and Elspeth Gray stayed with us while they performed at the theatre in town. I have not been back for many years but am sad to see it is no longer a pub.
