The Rose & Crown was situated at 6 Main Street. This pub is now in residential use and known as April Cottage.  A grade-II listed building.

Listed building details:

Cottage. Early C18. Brick, Flemish bond, painted and half hipped longstraw thatch with ridge stack. One storey and attic. One later dormer. Segmental arches to three original window openings, two with later hung sashes. The original doorway in a similar arch is now blocked.
