The George Inn was situated on Main Street. This pub is now in residential use.

Two-storey beer house of red brick with white brick dressings and tiled roof. Design has main range with NW crosswing. Slightly projecting chimney SW to the street on the main range with a stone panel initialled and dated "TSQ 1850" on a shield. Either side of the stack on the ground floor are small tiled oriels rising off moulded corbels; the gable of the crosswing has an ornamental barge board and beneath it a third oriel.
