The Harwicke Arms was situated at 1 Church Street. This grade-II listed pub closed in the early 2000s and is now used as an Indian restaurant.

Listed building details:

Public house, two storeyed, of brick and slate, in now largely 19th century. An internal chimney with panelled stack, partly rebuilt and dated to 1703, suggests it may have originated as a structure of that date.
