The Seven Stars was situated on Newmarket Road.
This pub has a grade II listed ceramic glazed front which unfortunately was
sand blasted rather than chemically stripped of paint and thus ruined. |

From: Historic Building Survey at the
former Seven Stars Public House, Cambridge, 2014, A.Garwood |
An historic building survey
identified that the Seven Stars Public House was originally constructed
during the early to mid 19th century as a two storey dwelling. A new ornate
entrance bay was added to the façade and extensive internal redecoration and
remodelling of the bar and first floor rooms was carried out between 1903
-1927. Later improvements during the mid 20th century included the addition
of a new purpose built kitchen range and detached outside toilets. |
