The Jubilee was situated at 73 Catharine Street.
This pub
Closed around Summer 2009. It had become run-down under Punch Taverns'
ownership, but was once a lively venue. The city council approved its
demolition for housing by the casting vote, in June 2010, despite local
opposition. It has now been developed
for new housing. |

Customer. Spent many happy hours in there with mates,
playing darts, also on summer bus trips to the coast, was always fun, my
early days of elbow bending. |
