Fox Inn

The Fox Inn was situated on the Old Great North Road. This was a grade-II listed pub.

 

Listed building details:
Farmhouse. Early C18 with mid C19 addition. Red brick and rough cast rendered timber-frame. Plain tile roof. Two storeys with rear outshut. C19 gabled porch with tiled roof, bargeboard and apex finial, four-panelled door with fanlight and side lights. Two ground floor twenty-paned hung sash windows in segmental brick arches, two first floor horizontal sliding sash windows. Dentil brick eaves cornice, rebuilt plinth, tumbled parapet gables (reduced), and end stacks.
