The Queens Hotel was situated at 85 Scotland Street. This pub opened in 1791 when it was called The Queens Inn, and was closed in 1997. and subsequently demolished early 2021.  Once the post-match watering hole for BISRA (Hoyle Street) Cricket Club, and in the 60s/early 70s had a Jazz Club once a week, which then moved closer in town. It is to be replaced with flats.
