It should be noted and celebrated that the longacre had
the first black landlord in the UK. Truly worth having added to the
history of the longacre. A joyous man, ever welcoming |

I was an underage customer to this
memorable pub, about 15. Loved to walk from home on Camden Rd, down Snow
Hill for live DJs and music sets, run upstairs. My very first memories
of live events... so lucky. Sadly, too young to get to know anyone,
staying close to my underage friend... we were not meant to be there! I
was so sad that this wonderful tavern had to close. A special place,
very much missed, but I will always remember the memories. |
