The White Horse was situated at 3-3a High Street. This grade-II listed pub closed in the 2000s and is now in mixed retail and residential use.
 

 
Listed building details:
ublic house, now restaurant, shop and flat. Mid C18. Squared coursed limestone with slate and plain tile roof. Originally 3-unit plan. 2 storeys. 4-window range of C19 casements under wood lintels at first floor and 2 canted stone bay windows at ground floor alternated with plate glass windows in original openings. Glazed door to right of centre under moulded stone hood with pediment. Ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at ridge. Rear elevation has C19 lean-to extension. Interior has spine beams. Formerly the White Horse public house.
