The Black Horse was situated at
67 Roman Road.
This pub was present by 1869 and in 1883 was rebuilt by architects Hammack &
Lambert. It had been a Truman’s Brewery pub until in 1985, along with
several other small boozers in the area, it was purchased by Bellhaven.
Closure followed in 1995. For a while the ex-pub was used as an art
gallery. |
