The Pack Horse was situated on Main Street. This was a grade-II listed pub which closed c2015.
 

 
Listed building details:
Public house. C16, C18 and early C19. Brick with ashlar dressings. Concrete tile roof. 2 storey. Main front, 3 bays with central doorway and C20 fenestration under hipped roof. School lane front has single gable and single ridge stacks, coped gables with kneelers. First floor band and dentilated eaves. 4 bays. Lowest 20 courses of brickwork C16, remainder C18. Off-centre doorway with C19 panel door and overlight flanked by 3-light mullion window to ridge all with ovolo moulded ashlar mullions. A single 3 light similar window above to right, with 3, C19 casements to left, the central on 2-light flanked by 3-light windows.
