The Friendly Inn was situated on Jinny Lane and is now used as a private dwelling.
My great grandfather Charles Law was landlord at this pub in early 1900s i think for Masseys brewery, he then moved to the original Pendle inn where he opened in his sons name Charles Bowskil Law. He died here in 1928 age 52 after a fall just a few years before the new Pendle inn was built in the early 1930s.
