The Trinity Vaults was situated on the corner of Latimer Street and Athol Street. This pub was present by the 1860s when it was called The Chanticleer. It has now been converted into flats.
When I was curate of the local CofE parish, 45 years ago, there was always a pint for Father when he visited, whatever the hour.
