The Cricketers was situated on Bridge Street. This pub is now used as a restaurant / B&B.

My great grandmother ran this pub and somewhere I have a cutting from the 100 years ago news from the Hampshire Chronicle. She was accused of running a bawdy house and fined accordingly! Her name was Eliza Newsome.
