Rosie Piper   Family history has it that my great-great-uncle Robert (Bob) Nunn used to own this pub (along with some others) and in fact he died in one of the upstairs bedrooms at the Railway. If anyone has any further information about Bob Nunn I'd be fascinated to hear it.
Clem 1978-1982 Ask right & hear the truth about the pub - dodgy motors, forgeries, nicked radios no problem, & one end that hated the other - made for serious fights often enough. The regulars were (often unemployed) from local areas, many stealing & on benefits. Piss-poor! Violent and sick people there, more than one girl openly & regularly offering herself. The sort that drink here should be discouraged & the only way to do that is to shut these pubs down.
