The Brewery Tap was situated at 2 Linton Road. This pub closed c2010.

The building is still there and is currently De Lounge, an establishment aimed at the local West African community. Since being the Brewery Tap it has been through several incarnations and name changes, the James Figg, Barking Tap, @Barking and the King's Lounge. The building dates backs to 1894 and replaced an earlier pub on the other side of the road. The brewery referred to was Glenny's Brewery which operated at two sites in Barking from 1864 to 1929/30 when it was taken over by Taylor Walker of Limehouse and closed.
