My 3rd great aunt, a Mrs Elizabeth Fothergill (nee Ratcliff) was the licenced victualer at the pub according to the 1911 census (aged 67). She died 28 Feb 1919 and her will left £863. 5s. 5d to Robert Fothergill, Innkeeper. Presumably Robert her son had took over as Landlord. Robert married a Florence, who according to the 1911 census was a Barmaid at the Lord Belper, working for Elizabeth.
