Seven Stars was situated on Coinagehall Street. This
grade-II listed
pub was previously known as The Fitzsimmons Arms and closed in 2018. It was
named after World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Bob Fitzsimmons, who was born
in Helston. |

Public house. Early/mid C19.
Rendered front; asbestos slate front roof behind parapet; one reset C17
crested clay ridge tile visible to rear wing; brick end stacks. U-shaped
plan with deep rear wings flanking former carriageway. 2 storeys;
symmetrical 3-window range. Early/mid C19 hornless sashes with glazing bars.
Central 12-pane sash over wide doorway with C20 boarded and panelled double
doors flanked by canted oriels with moulded cornices and apron plinths over
C20 narrow tripartite horned sash on the left and similar wide tripartite
sash on right. INTERIOR not inspected. |
