The Warren Buckley was situated at the
junction of Warren Street and Bridge Street. The pub was demolished in 1986
but the facade was reconstructed further down Bridge Street. |

There was a vault below the pub that
was used by a jazz club as I remember in the 60s and 70s. The landlord was a
great fan. He recorded many artists on basic cassette tape. A few years ago
several tracks were transferred onto a CD. Did the vault survive? Is it now
below the modern shop buildings? |
