The Bugle was situated on Friar
Street. This pub was present by 1841 and closed in 2021. The pub sign shows
a bugler of the British 66th Regiment in the uniform worn by the regiment in
Afghanistan in 1880. It is due for demolition with an application for
planning permission to build a hotel. |
