The Craven Heifer was situated on
Grassington Road. This pub closed in July 2023.
It became a Garden Centre - Bloom, but shortly after opening, the centre was
burgled on 19 Sept 2024. Before the change of use, and whilst empty, the
pub was subject to a number of break-ins which caused considerable damage,
as a result of which a number of security measures were installed, including
CCTV and secure fencing. However, power was cut in the latest attack and
major thefts and considerable damage was caused again, including a flood. |

Approval has been given by North Yorkshire
Council to convert the building into 5x2 bedroom, and 1x1 bedroom flats. |
