The Malt Shovel was situated at
3 Leading Post Street. This pub was present by 1822 when the publican was
William Gibson. In 1911 the licence was refused by Scarborough Borough
Council. It was grade-II listed in 1973 and demolished in 1978. A three
storey building with stucco facade and slate roof. |
