The White Swan was situated at 28 Horsefair. This pub dated back to 1777 and has had a number of name changes over the years including Harleys Hotel, Hollywood Bar, Tap & Spiel and Antix. Closed in 2011 it has now been converted into a vets surgery. Publican in 1851 and 1861 was William Kitchen.
