My wife and I celebrated our engagement with dinner at the Lord Raglan on 4th May 1970. Typical 1970s food, we had prawn cocktail followed by steak and chips. The manager then was Chisholm Spence. He introduced himself to us because of our name connection. He gave us a token as a small memento of the evening. We still have it, somewhere safe but can't find it at the moment!
