The Park was situated on Beverley Road.

This was my first home as my grandparents or rather my grandfather was the licensee of this pub from c1945 until 1953/4. At this time it was known as he Park Hotel. Looking at the photo, it is was very different because it had a large opening to the right, this was for the dray delivery, so one can assume that the next building accommodated this. The double gate opening led into the dray yard and the large double doored cellar. The property also had a Gymnasium building to the rear, together with a small garden.
