The New Millers Dam was situated at 328 Thornton Road.

My Grandfather, Herbert Hollingworth and his wife Marion were the landlord and landlady of the New Miller's Dam for many years. Our family frequently visited them and we youngsters helped Grandad "bottle up". Trade was exclusively from the surrounding mill houses. Originally a Hayes pub, it was taken over by Websters and then began its sad decline.
