Name Dates Comments Janet Taylor 1970/1974 I lived there much of the time with my best friend Christine Burke from age 12 to 16 approx. Her parents ran the pub Roy & Nora Burke. Morrisons was still across Thornton Road and the staff would use the pub. I remember the cellars & creepy unused rooms. The red door at the side on Girlington Road was to the living room of living quarters. Out bedrooms were in the main pub building though above the bar & snug where jukebox was.
