The Flying Dutchman was situated on
Lumb Lane. This pub was also known as Haigys. A real ale pub that was
popular with Bradford City fans, it was made notorious in the TV series Band
of Gold about the lives of women living and working in the red light
district. A campaign against its closure when the landlady Yvonne Haig
decided to retire in 2015 was unsuccessful. |
