The Kings Arms was situated at 644
Great Horton Road. This grade-II listed
pub was originally a house and dates from 1739. It was a pub for most of the
19th century with stabling and a coach house on the Bradford to Halifax
turnpike. In March 2021 planning consent was granted for conversion into a
shop with two flats. |

Brooksbank family re Nos 67O-67OA. Two-storey house of sandstone "brick"
with stuccoed front. Quarry slate roof. Three 2 light square mullion windows
on first floor, 2 on ground floor, later bar entrance and original central
doorway with crude Gibbs surround with date and initials GB on keystone. |
