The Farmyard was situated on Bowling Back Lane. This pub was present by 1836 when the Ancient Foresters held their anniversary dinner there. In 1839 the Leeds United Order of Odd Fellows opened a lodge at the inn. The landlord was Joseph Roberts in 1836 and he was still listed as the landlord in 1845. There was a gym above the pub from the 1930s. The pub closed at the end of the 1970s and some time later it was set on fire.
