County Restaurant

The County Restaurant was, despite the name, a pub situated on Bridge Street. It was located above Rimmington's Pharmacy, which has a blue plaque reading 'Felix M Rimmington 1818-1897. The celebrated chemist and Bradford Borough Analyst worked from these premises, dispensing medicines and offering public health advice. He investigated many instances of poisoning - including the infamous Humbug Billy sweet poisoning case of 1858'.
