The Town Well Inn was situated at 42-44 High Street, Idle (then known as Town Well Fold). A grade-II listed pub now in residential use.

Listed building details:
Early C19 three-storey pair. Coursed sandstone with stone slate roof. Each has 2-light square mullion casements one to each floor. Plain stone surrounds to doorways.
