The New Inn was situated at Worle
Common. This pub is now used as a farmhouse. It was licensed as far a we
know from 1814-1890 with The Nell up the road finally taking the remaining
trade. The Georgian front is 1787 so presumably dates to then but there was
an older building. You can still make out the painted lozenge on the side of
the end wall facing the road. |
