The Crown Inn was situated on the junction of the A456 and B4202. This pub has now been demolished to improve visibility.

Mark 1970s My nan owned the static caravan that was sited here. Their names were Fred and Emily Silk. The pub was kept by Frank and Doreen.
Stanley Jeavons 1981 My uncle ran this pub for a few months.
Derek Tibbetts 1970 Frank & Doreen Baylis used to run The Crown, Frank was my Great uncle.
Wendy Williams (nee Baylis) 1957 - 1978 My parents kept the pub until they retired in 1974/75. We had many happy years there and hosted some of the emerging Birmingham bands. Still have their cocktail sticks and place mats. So many memories.
