Name Dates Comments Eddie Bulfin 1974/1983 In 1974 I started visiting The Carpenters Arms for lunch with a group of female work colleagues who didn't want to go to the pub without a male colleague. The pub served good food. After changing jobs I used the Carpenters only in the evenings from 1983 to about.The Carpenters was always a really busy place and you could barely move in there on weekends. It is a shame the property was allowed to get run-down and close.
