The Bell Inn was a beer house that was
certainly running in 1650. It closed at the beginning of the twentieth
century, when it formed part of a terrace. The premises was split into two
dwellings, but was put back into one in the mid 1990s. The premises still
contains the cellar, large inglenook fireplace with an integral bread oven,
and many original beams. |
