The Junction Hotel was situated on the A685 and has now been converted into apartments.

During WW2 this pub was owned by Alexander’s Beezon Brewery in Kendal, before that brewery and its pubs were taken over by Dutton’s Brewery of Blackburn. Does anyone know when the pub closed? Michael Collard (grandson of Stanley Alexander, the last family Chairman of Alexander’s)
