The Bowling Green was situated on New Street and closed in 2009.

This pub has now reopened.

Was run by "Bill and Kitty" in the 1960. It had an off licence and us kids used to pinch the empties from the store house at the back and return them again and again. Bill and Kitty soon caught on !!
