Yates like many other Yates's across the country closed suddenly in 2008. Many staff very unhappy as they were owed wages. Management told them they had to move all stock and furniture as they were having a new carpet fitted through a Saturday night/Sunday morning and to stop workers nicking alcohol, they had to remove it. Little did the staff know it was a stitch-up to get more work out of them for free. Yates is located on Stratford Street in Nuneaton Town Centre.
