The Poachers Pocket was situated on Cole Hall
Lane. This was originally a farm building called Cole Hall Farm that was
converted into a public house by Banks brewery back in the 1980s which
finally helped break the longstanding monopoly of the pub scene in
Birmingham by Ansells and Mitchells & Butlers Breweries. It is now used as a
wedding and function centre. |
