The Red Lion was situated on Warwick Road, Acocks Green. This pub was also known as The Trader.
This pub has now reopened.

Closed permanently in February 2018, when it was called The Lion. The land upon which this pub stood was leased from the next door Sainsbury’s Store. Sainsbury’s recently sold the entire site to Morrison’s. Morrison’s intention is to revamp the store and extend the car park by demolishing this pub to add an additional twenty car parking spaces!
