Duke Of York

The Duke Of York was situated on Hockley Hill. This was an M&B pub, and was a listed 19c Georgian building with a Victorian frontage. It had a fine Victorian interior, but the pub closed in the 1990s, and the interior was stolen in 1996. The building collapsed in a storm, November 2006. Delisted in 2007, the above photo shows the site of the pub.
