My parents ran this pub for Ind Coope &
Allsop in the 1950s & 60s; interesting customer range. The public bar had
builders working on Crawley New Town & railwaymen from Three Bridges Engine
Shed; There was the “private Bar” which seemed to be used only by “little
Old Ladies” The Lounge bar was used by local professional people and City
types off the train from London;
Beer prices varied from bar to bar; |
