The Arundel Arms was situated on Ford Road. Later known as The Station Hotel and then The Shaky Doo. This pub closed in 2005 and is now used as a care home. A grade-II listed building.

This was always an entertaining pub, and in the 1970s I used to go there a lot as it was handy for the train. It was a stop for the day release prisoners from Ford prison returning from their day work in Littlehampton.
